Processing

Professional handling and preparation of game meat after hunting. This includes tasks such as field dressing, skinning, and butchering wild game to produce high-quality cuts of meat. We offer additional services like sausage making, jerky preparation, and custom packaging. These services aim to ensure the efficient and sanitary processing of game meat providing hunters with convenient options for enjoying their harvest. (Pricing below)

Mobile Unit Pick-up and Delivery Services

Utilizing a mobile unit offers hunters a convenient and efficient solution for processing their game. The mobile unit is equipped to travel to the hunting location where it can handle tasks such as field dressing, skinning, and initial processing. Once completed, the unit transports the processed game meat back to the processor's facility for further butchering, packaging, and additional services. This on-the-go processing saves hunters time and ensures the freshness and quality of their game meat, providing a seamless and accessible solution for wild game enthusiasts.

($20 for pickup within city limits plus an additional $0.50 per mile outside of Cheyenne, WY city limits)

We have a unique offering that includes a personalized teaching service where experts come to your residence for a hands-on class in butchering and processing game meat. This service goes beyond traditional processing by empowering hunters with the knowledge and skills to handle their own harvest. During the session, participants learn proper techniques for field dressing, skinning, and butchering under the guidance of an experienced instructor. This educational service enhances the connection between hunters and their game and promotes self-sufficiency and a deeper appreciation for the entire hunting process. (Call for pricing)

Pricing

Wild Game Cut & Wrap Fees:

  • Pronghorn: $110.00

  • Deer:

    • Deer under 140 lbs: $140.00

    • Deer over 140 lbs: $160.00

  • Elk, Moose, Bear, Cougar: $1.10 per lb.

  • Minimum Charge: $50.00

  • Skinning Fee: $30.00

  • Boned-Out Meat: $1.25 per lb.

    Meat must be clean on arrival. If meat is excessively hairy/ dirty, an additional $50 cleaning fee will be applied.

PLEASE NOTE: The prices above do not include the cost of making specialty meats out of your game (jerky, summer sausage, etc.). Please see the prices below for specialty meats. 


Wild Game Specialty Meats:

Do you enjoy sausage and jerky? I can take your wild game and turn it into a fantastic custom product! All prices are current and now include vacuum sealing for all specialty meats. It also includes seasoning, casings, and pork (beef only if requested) needed to make your wild game sausage.

  • Jerky: $8.00 per lb. Note: This price is based on your starting weight. Once the jerky is processed, you will retain approximately 40%-50% on your original weight due to the shrinkage of your original product.

  • Summer Sausage: Starts at $6.00 per lb. Note: this is a 90%-100% return on your wild game.

  • Stuffed Sausage/ Ground: $3.00 per lb. Bratwurst, Breakfast, and Italian. Note: this is a 100% return on your wild game.

Attention Hunters: There is a 10 lb. minimum on all jerky. And there is a 5 lb. minimum on all sausage

Delivery and Pickup:

$20 for pickup within city limits plus an additional $0.50 per mile outside of Cheyenne, WY city limits
